Kozlowski first joined the notetaking app maker in 2012 as Evernote's director of market development for Asia-Pacific markets.

Most recently, Kozlowski has been serving as Evernote's vice president of worldwide operations, managing the productivity software brand's global initiatives, including expansion into China and Brazil.

As COO, Kozlowski's foremost responsibility will be growing and overseeing teams across the Bay Area-based company's 11 offices worldwide, honing in on cross-functional teams covering marketing, sales, customer service and partnerships.

"In the first years of Evernote's existence, our focus was on creating groundbreaking new products," wrote Evernote CEO Phil Libin in a blog post on Monday. "Now that we're a maturing company, we need to balance innovation with quality, disruption with continuity, and user growth with revenue growth. Linda will bring that balance to Evernote."

She will also be tasked with helping overseeing the expansion of Evernote Business to more SMB and enterprise companies to further grow Evernote's revenue line.

Kozlowski has already been directing Evernote's global pricing strategy, which branched out to offer Evernote Plus and Evernote Premium tiers.

Prior to Evernote, Kozlowski spent roughly four years at Alibaba.com, running global marketing and business development.
