Fastest Windows Vista notebook - MacBook Pro

From the "would you believe your eyes" files.  According to tests carried out by PC World, the fastest Windows Vista notebook of 2007 is the MacBook Pro:

The fastest Windows Vista notebook we've tested this year is a Mac. Try that again: The fastest Windows Vista notebook we've tested this year--or for that matter, ever--is a Mac. Not a Dell, not a Toshiba, not even an Alienware. 

The MacBook Pro scored 88 on the PC WorldBench 6 Beta 2 benchmark test.  I've not used this benchmark so I can't comment on why the MacBook Pro scored so well - I'm going to take a closer look at the WorldBench 6 scores and see what I find.

Apple takes advantage of this news by releasing a new ad called Misprint.

So, there you go.  Want a fast Windows notebook - take a MacBook Pro and install Windows Vista on it.  I'm not sure if that's the kind of press Apple were looking for to be honest, but there you go!
