Groklaw reports that the infamous SCO case is finally due to be settled, in Utah.

The issues before the court will be how much SCO owes Novell for its previous licensing deals, and whether SCO had any right to enter into license agreement with Sun and Microsoft in the first place.

Since this is now part of a bankruptcy case, any court finding would have to be approved by the bankruptcy judge, and SCO's Darl McBride is already threatening an appeal, claiming Judge Dale Kimball is often over-ruled.

And so the case that won't die goes on. There is still the chance someone may want to take a flyer on SCO's chances and buy it.

But at this point, would you?
