France ranks well behind other countries in online shopping, with only 7 percent of Net users having completed a transaction online in recent months, compared with 27 percent of U.S. Web surfers, according to a new survey. Among European nations, France placed seventh in the e-commerce study -- behind Great Britain, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Portugal and Belgium.
