Fujitsu goes burgers in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, 27 January 2000 -- Fujitsu has been awarded a two-year contract to set up a nationwide help service, which will provide a single-point of service for all its IT support requirements.It will enable problems to be highlighted and resolved expediently, thus reducing downtime and saving costs.

Kuala Lumpur, 27 January 2000 -- Fujitsu has been awarded a two-year contract to set up a nationwide help service, which will provide a single-point of service for all its IT support requirements.

It will enable problems to be highlighted and resolved expediently, thus reducing downtime and saving costs.

In her speech, Molly Loh managing director of Fujitsu Computer Systems Malaysia said that "in order to maximise shareholder value, the outsourcing of non-core functions is fast becoming a strategic management responsibility".

Through the use of Fujitsu’s Managed Services, McDonald’s will have the ability to have direct, fast and easy access to real time information from each of its’ 128 restaurants nationwide, therefor relieving stress and attention away from McDonald’s core business. -- Maxis Net 2000
