Google Maps finds Europe

Philipp Lenssen reports that Google now has detailed map information for Europe.  Previously only borders were visible but now you can get accurate information right down to the street level.

I can imagine how people must have been frustrated without this level of detail, but now that Google provides this data, users will be flocking to the service to give it a test-drive.  Philipp says that he's having connection problems with the service which could be linked to the initial heavy demand.
