Greater extranet security 'on the way'
Internet software company Secure Computing is about to ship a new product aimed at making extranets more secure.
The company, only recently returned to profitability after a spell in the doldrums, says that SecureWire, available later this month, will give business partners and customers 'escorted access' to selected data on a company's Web site, without allowing them to go anywhere. It also creates a log of who gained access and what data they saw.
