Maybe you are new to VoIP, and don't know your H.323 from your SIP.

Perhaps you have gotten that far, but your eyes glaze over when a systems integrator is talking about the virtues of G.722 vs. G.711 audio encoding.

If those terms befuddle you, I've got a quick-and-easy resource for you. It's called "Your glossary to the VOIP alphabet soup," and its available on the IT Manager's Journal Web site. Right here.

We know our jargon, too. Any other IP Telephony-related terms you would like us to define? TalkBack and ask us!
