Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore organises eFestival Asia

Singapore Feb 15 - In its push to increase public awareness of Internetand broadband applications, the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore hasorganised Singapore's first ever multimedia festival. From March 1-7, eFestivalwill congregate industry experts and players to showcase their onlineapplications.

Singapore Feb 15 - In its push to increase public awareness of Internet and broadband applications, the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore has organised Singapore's first ever multimedia festival. From March 1-7, eFestival will congregate industry experts and players to showcase their online applications.

Online games, WAP phones, video phones, 3D virtual shopping, unified messaging, and many other digital innovations are set to make eFestival the mardi gras of the multimedia industry. eFestival is part of a larger scale five-week long programme, known as eCelebrations. eCelebrations Singapore will see a line up of public events like Youth Got IT, Electronic Theatre, One Challenge, Family InfoSearch Contest and ICT extravaganza. 

Exhibitors slated to be present include companies like Asiasmart, DiscVault, iT21, Quicken Online, Singapore Cable Vision, Singtel Magix and 2bSURE.com.

In addition, experts from the local and international arena will share their expertise and thoughts on animation and special effects, 3D and virtual reality, and digital art and music at a conference titled "Birds of a Feather".
