Iomega 250GB brown leather eGo HDSure, it looks like an overpriced flask, but hey -- to each his own.

Iomega posted the 250GB Brown Leather eGo Hi-Speed USB 2.0 portable hard drive on their website today, and it looks to be a fine way to show that your geekitude in neurotically backing up your files doesn't consume your personal style, either. (Well, except for that Star Wars Episode III-themed personal server hidden in the closet...)

For those who don't mind spending a little cash on the GQ look, the drive isn't a bad choice. It's reportedly the only leather-clad drive on the market, and the shiny chrome end caps can either give you an office reputation as a hard drinker or as a speed-demon who appreciates a throaty exhaust. Either way, its reflective properties make it a great way to check to see if any lunch made its way onto your white button-down shirt.

In all seriousness, though, it's not clear how the leather or chrome caps contribute to vibration dampening, so if that's your main problem, a rugged, all-terrain drive might be your best bet.

The drive is 0.90 inches by 3.35 inches by 5.93 inches, and weights 0.57 lbs. It requires no external power supply. Iomega's selling it for the very, very precise price of $142.45.
