JVC rolls out colorful SP-A230 and SP-A1M portable speakers

If you're the type who likes an impromptu party, then you need a speaker on-the-go. JVC has a pair of battery-operated new models: the SP-A230 and the SP-A1M.

Starting on the smaller side of things, we've got the 2.8-ounce SP-A1M that sports a single 30mm driver and delivers up to 30 hours of audio playback.

Then there is the 4.8-ounce SP-A230 (pictured above), which host a pair of 30mm diameters driver units with a 160mWx2 output. Owners should be able to squeeze 25 hours of battery life from a single full charge on this one.

Powered by a pair of AA and AAA batteries respectively, the SP-A230 and SP-A1M are due out in Japan this November. Buyers have four sleek shades to choose from: black, white, red and gold.
