Microsoft has reportedly offered to sell its 23.6 per cent stake in cable firm Telewest to Liberty Media. According to a report in the Financial Times Microsoft is prepared to part with its stake for 47.8 cents per share - making the deal worth $332m. John Malone's Liberty Media already owns 25 per cent of Telewest and has been offered first refusal on the shares.
