Microsoft Surface Pro 3 hits Europe and Asia from 28 August

Microsoft has confirmed the launch date for the Surface Pro 3 tablet in 25 countries outside of the US.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 will be available in 25 countries across Europe and Asia from the end of this month.

The tablet - which is already available in Canada, Japan and the US - will be available in Australia, China, the UK and 22 other countries from 28 August. The tablet is already available to pre-order in many countries worldwide.

Ed Bott wrote of the Surface Pro 3 in his review on ZDNet 'If you're in the market for a Windows-based laptop replacement, the Surface Pro 3 should be on your short list'.

The Intel Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 models will be available from Microsoftstore.com, Surface retail partners, and Author Device Resellers in the following countries:

The Surface Pro 3 Docking Station will be available in countries outside the US by the end of September.
