Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer was given an Apple MacBook to sign at a Nashville, Tenn. event...and he signs it.

Yep, that's right -- no throwing it through a window.

It goes a little something like this:

"Mr. Ballmer?"

"Yes?"

"Would you sign my laptop?"

(laughter)

"It's got Windows on it, I promise."

"Oh, yeah..."

(writes "Need a new one? Steve Ballmer")

"It's all yours!"

The video clip, after the jump:

At least it wasn't an iPhone.

If you were Ballmer, what would you have done?
