MS sets UK 'DevDays' developer tour dates
Microsoft has set UK and Irish dates for its mammoth 'DevDays' tour for developers who want to get to grips with its new wave of client-server, Internet and intranet tools. The tour is to cover over 80 sites in 40 countries.
The UK events are: Dublin, March 20; Edinburgh, March 24; London, March 25; and Birmingham, March 26. DevDays will be launched with a satellite link-up with Microsoft chairman and CEO Bill Gates. Products covered will include Visual Basic, Visual J++, Visual InterDev, Visual C++, Transaction Server, FoxPro and Office 97 Developer Edition.
