Microsoft Corp. announced on Monday that its Windows Media 7 -- a competitor to RealNetworks Inc.'s software -- would include technology to create movies from on-screen actions. Aimed at the help-desk market, the screen-capture technology could display the on-screen steps necessary for a variety of computer tasks, all over a 28.8Kbps modem.
