Looking at non-delivery rates of permission-based marketing e-mail, where the lowest percentage indicates the best performance, Earthlink is the clear winner for the second half of 2003, blocking only 7% of permission-based e-mail. BellSouth (8.0%) and AT&T Worldnet (10.2%) also performed well. Mac.com lost 26.2% of marketing messages, even though the user had signed up for them, Yahoo! Mail users didn't see 26.7% of incoming marketing e-mail, and NetZero filtered 37.7% of supposed spam.
