New MacBook Air recalls inappropriate relationships

I missed going to MacWorld but I couldn't miss the MacBook Air announcement. And it stirred memories of prior inappropriate relationships with my ex'es.

It also reminded me of the 1980s and early 1990s when it was OK to talk about technology as being "sexy." That term was quickly chased out by the personal politics movement of those times, but I can't help but wish for its return.

Because as much as I don't want to be attracted to the MacBook Air, as in prior relationships that I knew where not right for me, I can't help but be seduced by it, flaws and all. And I know I'll wake up in the middle of the night thinking about it.

Tell me you can resist its featherweight slim body, bright display, its full keyboard. Not to mention its responsiveness to touch, and its always on wireless ethernet. It is a wet dream for geeks.
