The market research concludes that not only did the aquamarine iMac sell fast, but it also boosted sales of other Apple products, including PowerBooks and PowerMacs, by an overall 20 percent. With the iMac sales thrown in, August month-on-month growth for Apple products was 109 percent. Analysts estimate between 600,000 and 800,000 iMacs will be sold this year.
