News Burst: European kings of crypto join forces
Competing cryptography vendors met Wednesday to discuss integration of their different European digital signature technologies.
Among those at the Trust Infrastructure for Europe (TIE) were ICL, Baltimore Technologies, Utimaco, Safeware, The Open Group and the UK Post Office. The parties will work on a technical specification for the interoperable system over the next 6 months.
