The Itsy, a PDA developed by Compaq with Linux in mind, could lead the alternative OS' foray into mobile computing.

About 75 of the smaller-than-a-palm gadgets exist, albeit in prototype form, and form the core of Compaq's next generation "futuristic and wearable" designs, said the company.

Unfortunately for Linux lovers Compaq has no plans to bring the Itsy to market.
