It's radio, but not as we know it...

Cyber radio, that's radio streamed onto the Internet, is catching on and according to a report in the Los Angeles Times a company called GameSpy (no web address) is due to release software that acts like an Internet version of the scan button in a car stereo.

While Net radio has some way to go before it catches on in the UK, in America there are hundreds of stations online. The so-called cybercasters use MP3 to get music on the Web and this new piece of software allows users to find an MP3 station simply by clicking on the type of music that appeals.

Nuggets is trying to get more information on this software which we'll pass onto you as soon as it becomes available.
