Another day, another office superstore Black Friday ad leak. Yesterday I featured Office Depot's deals, and today let's look at OfficeMax's ad.
While OfficeMax doesn't offer a sub-$200 doorbuster laptop like some other stores, it does have a 15.6-inch Toshiba Satellite notebook with AMD E-300 processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 320GB hard drive for $249.99. However, the catch is that you have to be spending at least $50 in the store to be eligible for the offer.
OfficeMax has plenty of other laptop deals that don't require a minimum purchase. These include a Toshiba Satellite Ultrabook with 14-inch display, Intel Sandy Bridge (not Ivy Bridge) Core i3-2377M CPU, 4GB RAM, and 500GB hard drive for $549.99. Depending on how you feel about Windows 8, you may be pleased to know this Ultrabook ships with Windows 7.
If you're looking for a non-Toshiba laptop, there are also a pair of HP portables with Black Friday pricing. The Pavilion G6-2228NR includes a 15.6-inch display, AMD A6-4400M processor, 4GB of RAM, and 320GB hard drive for $349.99, while the 15.6-inch Envy DV6-7226NR with Intel Core i5-3210M Ivy Bridge chip, 6GB of RAM, 500GB hard drive, and Beats Audio support is $499.99.
There are also a handful of HP Pavilion desktop specials, including a $329.99 model with AMD A4-3420 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 500GB hard drive, a $429.99 system with Core i3-2130 chip, 8GB of RAM, and 1.5TB hard drive, and a $499.99 tower with AMD's A10-5700 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 1.5TB hard drive. There's also an HP Pavilion all-in-one desktop with 23-inch screen, AMD E2-1800 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 500GB hard drive for $449.99.
OfficeMax isn't offering much in the way of tablet deals (unless you want to buy a third-tier Azpen Android 7-inch tablet with 4GB of storage for $69.99), but as with other retailers, it's trying to cajole purchases with a free gift card. In this case, you can get a $25 store gift card if you purchase the new Amazon Kindle Fire HD between the hours of 6 a.m. and noon on Black Friday.
