On the road: First at Sun in Burlington, MA, then at Xerox in Rochester, NY

I'll be on the road for the next two days. Today, I'm heading down to Sun's campus in Burlington, MA to see what the folks in Sun's Labs are working on (I'm already late for that). In addition to an overview of what the Labs are all about, Sun will apparently be showing off some of their work in the area of Systems Sciences, talking about the company's Project Darkstar, demonstrating its Connected Conference Room technologies, and revealing some of its latest innovations in the area of advanced search technologies (namely something it calls Search Inside the Music).

I'll have my Nikon D70 with me. So, if there's anything worthwhile to blog about, I'll try to get some images and text posted later today or tomorrow. From Sun's campus, I'm heading straight to Boston's Logan Airport for a trip to Rochester, NY where I'll be trying to stay warm (Rochester is one friggin' cold place) while giving a talk on blogging and the changing media landscape to a bunch of folks from Xerox and then I'll be doing a podcast interview of one of my favorite people: Xerox's CTO Sophie Vandebroek. Then, it's back to home base early tomorrow evening.

If you have any questions for Vandebroek, be sure to post them on the comments area here or write to me at david DOT berlind AT cnet.com.
