Online retailer JCrew.com suffers outage

JCrew.com, the online store for the maker of the popular clothing retailer, has experienced a site outage. A notice on the site attributes the problem to heavy volume due to the holidays. The site was expected to be up and running again by 2:00 P.M. Eastern but at that time a J.Crew spokesperson confirmed the site was still being "updated."
