James Kendrick and I are back with show #28 to talk Tablet. James is really excited about the new Fujitsu Loox P70T/V, the refreshed model of the P1510D. Will it make it to the US? We hope so.

James gives a recap of the Tablet PC Webinar that was recently hosted by Allegiance Technology Partners.

Can you live without a keyboard? We each share our thoughts on that frequently-asked question.

The rest of the show is spent discussing the just-released Vista RC1 and how it will impact the Tablet PC experience. With Vista on the horizon, we discuss whether should you buy a new Tablet PC now or wait for the official Vista release.

For those curious about the new user interface in Vista, I recommend trying one of the Aero Glass-like skins and other UI effects in Object Desktop 2007 (what I'm calling my "near-Vista" experience) to determine if the new high-end interface will help or hinder you in your work.

We urge those of our listeners testing Vista on their Tablet PCs to be sure and submit bug reports so Microsoft can fix any issues that remain. If you are running Vista on a Tablet PC, we want to hear from you. Let us know what you think of it so we can share with everyone.

Rounding out the show, I talk about my experience dealing with the Internet Explorer 7 team this past week to squash a bug.
