Palm Pre now available at Amazon.com; $199.99

Consumers can now obtain a Palm Pre smartphone from Amazon.com, complementing the handset's availability at Sprint and Best Buy stores.

The popular device has just been posted for $199.99, no rebate necessary. (A non-contract version is available for $499.99, a $50 savings compared to Sprint and $250 savings compared to Best Buy.)

According to Amazon's listing, Pre shipments won't be available for four to six weeks.
