PC usage patterns: 57% play games on PC, 51% listen to music, 48% burn CDs and DVDs

In a survey of 4,000 US households with Internet access Parks Associates asked the respondents about their computer usage patterns. The respondents were asked to name every activity that they conducted on their PCs at least once a month.

In a survey of 4,000 US households with Internet access Parks Associates asked the respondents about their computer usage patterns. The respondents were asked to name every activity that they conducted on their PCs at least once a month. 57% of the households were involved in PC gaming, 51% listened to music on their PCs, 48% burned a CD or DVD, 45% edited digital photos on their PCs. 29% played DVDs, 21% made slideshows out of digital photos. 10% of Internet-enabled US households watched TV on their PC, 8% edited digital videos, 7% recorded TV shows.
