Pre-fab solar

Over at CNETnews.com Martin LaMonica's built a picture gallery of a modular solar home. He went through the first of the modular solar housing projects being built by Powerhouse Enterprises, a Boston-area company. On their website the company describes themselves as providers of "healthy, hip, affordable housing."

This Powerhouse has a metal roof that uses sunlight to heat water, and there are solar panels to generate electricity. This first project is still under construction.
