Robot frogs land Glasgow man in court

Frantic croakings unwelcome in Scotland, Will Knight reports
Written by Will Knight, Contributor

A Glasgow man has been fined £150 for disturbing his neighbours with an army of ferocious robot frogs he uses to defend his home.

Andrew Cromar, a 39 year-old electrician told The Times that neighbours were upset by his frogs' croakings even though were simply doing their job.

Sony's robot puppy, AIBO and a similar lower-budget offering from Sega called the Poo-Chi have been hugely popular around the world. Unfortunately Cromar's neighbours were not so enthusiastic. In fact they were so incensed by the electronic amphibians' frantic croakings, that they've demanded the frogs be destroyed.
