The bug can, in certain circumstances, cause a customer's account number, address and name to become accessible to another customer.
The problem arose following a transfer of data from the US to the UK and has been identified. Insight assures ZDNet UK News that it is working hard to deal with the issue.
Paul Cusack, UK managing director of Insight UK says, "There are far more worse offenders than us on the Internet, but we admit the problem, we throw our hands up and we are working to fix this today".
