Server market revenues to reach $42.4 bln in 2004

iSuppli predicts that worldwide PC shipments will rise to 191.4 mln units in 2004, up 13.4% from 168.8 mln in 2003, and that revenue will increase 12% to $132.8 bln, versus $118.6 bln in 2003. Unit sales of servers will increase by 16.6% to 60 mln units, and that revenue in the segment is now expected to grow by 7% to $42.4 bln.
