Sony Ericsson announced today its S312 cell phone, intended primarily as a multimedia device intended to capture video and still images on-the-fly and share them.The S312 carries a two megapixel camera that can be used horizontally, and has illuminated imaging shortcuts on the keypad to change image settings.

The S312supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE/900/1800 and will be available in select markets from Q2 in blue and silver colors.
