Stellar Asia-Pacific appoints new CIO

New Asia-Pacific IT head Warwick Marx tasked with integrating the company's new service offerings, which cover areas such as workflow, document management and software development.

Australian call center operator, Stellar, has appointed Warwick Marx to the position of chief information officer for its Asia-Pacific operations.

Marx, who has spent the past 18 months as Stellar Asia-Pacific's regional general manager, has more than 20 years experience working as a professional engineer, project manager and business manager.

His initial projects will focus on integrating the company's new service offerings which include workflow, document management and business process outsourcing as well as software development and application integration.

In an interview with ZDNet Asia's sister site ZDNet Australia, Marx said he will be aiming to build synergies between Stellar's seven sites in Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and the Philippines. He will also be overseeing the opening of the organization's new 250 seat call center in Biggera Waters, Queensland. The call center is expected to be fully operational by October 2007.
