Streetmap takes a European holiday

Online map site Streetmap.co.uk is expanding its services to offer Pocket PC downloads to cover all European locations. The subscription-based service will cost E50 (£30) per year and will initially be available only on PDAs. However, the company plans to introduce a desktop version later in the year. The Pocket PC version will also link up with GPS systems and offer driving directions. According to reports, Streetmap claims the European version will be more detailed than the UK edition, and will display travel and accident information.
