Sun to chew over IE's JDK compatibility today

Sun has called a US press conference for 6.30pm today to discuss the findings of its investigation into Internet Explorer 4.

Sun has called a US press conference for 6.30pm today to discuss the findings of its investigation into Internet Explorer 4.0's compatibility with the Java Development Kit (JDK) 1.1.

Observers expect that the conference could also mean that Sun claims Microsoft is in violation of its Java licence. The firm recently threatened to take away Microsoft's rights to use Java.
