TmoNews is one of the best sites ever for the inside scoop on T-Mobile USA's smartphone offerings and just posted a screenshot that shows T-Mobile G2 pre-orders starting tomorrow with a 6 October release date. I am a major Android fan, but have an excellent HTC EVO 4G on Sprint and also want a new Windows Phone 7 device on T-Mobile so I think I am going to have to resist. Then again, if you know me very well I will probably be one of the first to pre-order one tomorrow morning.

The T-Mobile G2 is the first HSPA+ compatible device for T-Mobile and brings Android 2.2 to a device with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It looks to be the US T-Mobile version of the HTC Desire Z, but without the Sense UI. It is a very nice upgrade over the G1 and I am sure it will do well on T-Mobile. Any of you readers planning to pick one up?
