Tech strong in Hoover's most searched-for companies in April

Insight into which companies are being watched most closely by corporate executives.

Five technology companies made the top ten in Hoover’s list of the 100 most searched-for companies in April 2006; Apple, Dell, Microsoft, Google and IBM. Wal-Mart, the world’s largest retailer, was the most searched for company.

According to Hoover’s, a business information company, the “Hoover’s 100” is

a monthly list of the most searched-for companies on Hoover's. Derived by tracking the search requests of Hoover's subscribers, The Hoover's 100 provides insight about which companies are being watched most closely by corporate executives, as well as sales, marketing, and business development professionals, who represent a large portion of Hoover's customers.
