James and Kevin have been letting me know all about the virtues of using OneNote Mobile on Windows Mobile devices and I now have it on my i-mate SP5m to sync to my Samsung Q1 UMPC. Last night while recording our MobileTechRoundup podcast Kevin shared his real-life usage of OneNote Mobile with his backyard construction project and Home Depot. Check out the full story for all the details on how the Samsung Q1 can be used to help you out in non-traditional ways. Would you ever take your laptop into Home Depot? Probably not, but a UMPC is a great sized device that you actually may take in and show the staff. You could use OneNote Mobile with a camera phone in many interesting ways, i.e. inventory your household goods, inventory of your DVD collection, documenting a project with photos, and more. Chris Pratley has a great OneNote blog and even shows you how you can take a photo of a business card and use OneNote Mobile as a way to search on the image of the card. Have you ever used OneNote Mobile in a unique situation?
