Video blogging from Vista launch...

As well as the usual scribbling diligently onto a trusty reporter's notebook, ZDNet UK also took along a hand-held camera to record some of the highlights of the Vista launch event in London's British Library. Being shot on hand-held, this video isn't as polished as our normal output – hence video blogging – but we think its worth putting out there.

It's interesting to see the normally no-nonsense Doug Richard being fairly kind and fluffy to a bunch of small businessmen. UK readers will know Doug from the popular BBC series Dragon's Den where he and a panel of fellow entrepreneurs gave start-ups a grilling over their business plans. Obviously, Richard and the small businesses have all been compensated by Microsoft in some shape or form but there is some interesting reaction to open source alternatives – especially from Richard.
