Win a Creative Zen X-Fi2 player and accessories
One of the best ways to cope with office tedium is to crank up the tunes. One lucky ZDNet UK reader will have the means to do this at hand, with the second prize in our Christmas competition: a Zen X-Fi2 media player with Aurvana Air headphones and Inspire S2 wireless speakers, all courtesy of Creative.
The Zen X-Fi2 player comes with Creative's customisable X-Fi audio technology. It handles music and video, displays photos, and has an FM radio and integrated voice recorder. The reviews editors at CNET, ZDNet UK's sister site, gave the earlier Zen X-Fi a 'very good' rating, saying: "Sound quality is top-notch, the screen is lovely, and the rated battery life for audio is impressive."
The X-Fi2 update has a couple of new features: a three-inch TFT LCD touchscreen that allows drag-and-drop of music tracks, and support for Free Lossless Audio Codec (Flac) to go with the previously supported MP3, WMA, WAV, Audible and AAC. It also comes with an external microSD card slot.
As a complement to the Zen X-Fi2, we have the lightweight Aurvana Air headphones, which have an EaseFit ear-hook design. The headphones feature Neodymium magnet drivers with ultra-slim, high-performance diaphragms.
If you want to treat your co-workers to your tunes, you can use the Inspire S2 wireless speaker system included in the prize. The speakers can play music streamed from any Bluetooth-enabled wireless device, such as a mobile phone. The palm-sized speakers come with a Direct-Throw subwoofer and USB Bluetooth transmitter for plugging into your PC.
