Zoho on Wednesday launched a help-desk application designed to round out its list of enterprise software and ride shotgun with its CRM offering.

The move highlights how Zoho continue to builds its business application portfolio. Raju Vegesna, Zoho evangelist, said in an interview that Zoho Support is integrated with the company's CRM and Chat applications. Further integration with Zoho's other applications will come in the next year.

Zoho Support features a tab for requests that prioritize incoming queries with integrated accounts and contact data. Companies can also tie service level agreements with certain customers. Tasks, dashboards and other views are also integrated.

Select users have been taking Zoho Support for a spin. A demo of the product also looked pretty handy. What remains to be seen is whether Zoho Support can take on players like Zendesk, RightNow and Kayako. If not, Zoho Support is likely to appeal to the company's current base of customers.

Zoho Support will run you $12 a month per agent for a business plan. A large enterprise subscription will cost $24.
