Panasonic reveals launch plans for 2011 Viera LED/LCD displays
Panasonic brought a slew of high-end, big screen TVs to CES 2011 this year, and now plans for pricing and release dates have been cemented and announced.
The 2011 line-up of Viera LCD/LED screens consists of eight displays ranging from basic HD LCDs to full HD 3D panels.
The most budget-friendly of the bunch are the 19-inch TC-L19C30 LCD/LED and 24-inch TC-L24C3 HD LCD for $299.95, set for May and June releases respectively. That one is followed up by the slightly-improved 32-inch TC-L32C3 at $399.95, geared up to hit shelves this month. The latter is a 720p HDTV with two HDMI connections and PC input. Both the 24-inch and 32-inch screens have Viera Image Viewer and Viera Link.
Fast forward to the top and you'll find the 32-inch TC-L32DT30 and 37-inch TC-L37DT30, priced at $1,199.95 and $1,299.95 when they are both released in April. These full HD 3D screens sport IPS Alpha LED panels and Viera Connect, providing Internet-connected access to many popular portals such as Netflix, Facebook, Hulu Plus and plenty of sports sites. Buyers will also find connectivity options galore with four HDMI ports, three USB ports, PC input and DLNA compatibility.
