PayPal may be sellers' friend, buyers' enemy

The online auction payment system may be speedy and secure for sellers, but PayPal is no friend of buyers, they say. Ask the dozens of Yahoo! (yhoo) auction customers who found out the hard way earlier this month. At least 50 people spent $100 or more for hard drives. None received their merchandise -- and apparently none of them will get their money back either.
