Evan Williams

Evan is the Microsoft 365 Business Group Director, responsible for helping customers unlock the potential of Microsoft's modern workplace technology to embrace a new culture of work. Prior to this role, Evan was the Windows and Devices Bus…iness Group Director, responsible for the Windows ecosystem and the marketing of the device business in Australia. Before his business group roles, Evan was the Small, Medium and Partner Group Director responsible for working with Microsoft Australia's leaders to drive sales and marketing efforts and provide comprehensive solutions for small to midmarket business customers. He also looked after Microsoft Australia's channel strategy, supporting the partner network of 14,000 Australian businesses that creates a range of Microsoft-based solutions and services to help our customers meet their unique needs. Evan joined Microsoft Australia in March 2010 as Communications Sector Director. He was instrumental in growing Microsoft's mobility business and enhancing the alliance with Telstra. He also managed the Hosting Partner team to support and promote the rise of cloud services in Australia and was responsible for selling with and to major telecommunications and media companies. Evan has more than 28 years' experience in the information technology sector. He has also held senior management positions with Dell and IBM across Asia Pacific's online business and South East Asia's home, small and midmarket segments.
