Google Assistant is coming to more speakers and appliances

You’ll soon be able to access Google Assistant on more devices. Google has announced it partnered with manufacturers Anker, Mobvoi, and Panasonic. Google is allowing them to add its AI-based assistant directly to their speaker products. Availability is not expected until late 2017 in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, and France. Google said it also partnered with LG to incorporate Google Assistant into appliances. Users will be able to control appliances via Google Assistant on Android, iOS, or a smart speaker. Google promised to announce more partnerships and integrations in the coming months. Keep in mind Amazon's Echo line is continuing to grow… And Apple is set to release the HomePod. Competition is at an all time high for placing an AI-equipped device in our homes.
