Watch out, Nest: Microsoft just teased a Cortana thermostat

Microsoft hasn't given up on home automation, afterall. • It is working on a Nest-like Thermostat. • Called GLAS, the smart thermostat will run Windows 10 IOT Core. • Cortana will enable voice control. • GLAS will use Azure cloud services on the backend. • From Microsoft’s teaser video, GLAS appears to have a touchscreen. • No word yet on pricing or release date.
