75% of PC owners play music from PC into stereo system

In the wake of Media PC push by Microsoft the recent survey by Parks Associates takes a look on how regular computer users use their home PCs with their consumer electronics devices. Among the most frequent uses of a regular PC as a media PC one can find listening to the digital music played from the computer into the stereo system (75% of respondents admitted to doing that), viewing digital photos stored on computer on TV screen (43%), viewing downloaded videos on TV screen (41%), used TV in attachment with their PC to play games (31%), used TV as a monitor for Web surfing (19%) and performed a videoconference with using TV to view the other person on the line (6%).
