Bravura Solutions has announced the appointment of a new CEO, Tony Klim, who will be based in London.

Klim was the CEO for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, all of which experienced expansion under his lead.

"Tony has built strong relationships with our major blue chip clients such as Bank of New York Mellon, JP Morgan, Citi, Lloyds Banking Group, Aviva and Legal & General, and we are confident he is filling the position with a detailed knowledge and understanding of Bravura's important client base, products and services," Brian Mitchell, Bravura chairman, said.

Klim's new role became free because Simon Woodfull left just over 12 months after being appointed as the head. His departure had been due to an unwillingness to travel frequently between the Australian and UK markets, according to Mitchell. The UK represents over 50 per cent of the company's business.

Klim will be able to service important UK clients from his base and has already made a commitment to acquaint himself with the Asia-Pacific side of the market. Klim takes up the role immediately.

"While I am extremely familiar with our European clients and employees I am looking forward to spending more time in Australia, New Zealand and Asia to get to better know and understand the needs of our wealth management clients and employees in our home base."
