President and CEO Pfeiffer will lead a press conference on Thursday with senior VP and general manager for Europe Andreas Barth where the company plans to talk up a new services model for small and medium-sized businesses. A week past Friday, the company surprised the industry by issuing a profits warning and citing sickly demand for PCs.

The number one PC vendor is also expected to discuss European releases for handheld Windows CE-based devices and Windows NT workstations.
